Circulation and readership of The Age exceeded our expectations during the last quarter. Sales of
The Age were up by 0.15% on weekdays, only marginally down on Saturdays, and up by 0.9% on
Sunday.

The Sunday Age’s circulation at 225,700 is a highlight. This means that since September 2004, our
Sunday circulation has increased by 16% or 31,200 copies.

Although slightly below our all-time best readership result a year ago, The Age now has about
40,000 more weekday readers than it had five years ago.

The Age's readership is slightly down on weekdays, but is steady on Saturdays and Sundays. Our
AB audience is strong, with market share gains particularly on Sundays. We have excellent
engagement with our readers, and we are pleased with the overall readership results.
